# China seeks more long-term stock investors with proposed rule revision

BEIJING, Jan 30 (Reuters) - China’s securities regulator is seeking comments on revised regulations that would allow more institutional investors to become long-term investors of listed companies, a statement showed on Friday.

The revisions are in line with a 2025 action plan for guiding more long-term capital into the stock market, and would allow investors including mutual funds and insurers to serve as strategic investors, China Securities Regulatory Commission said.
