# Civil aviation continues to recover: China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines are expected to turn losses into profits for last year, while China Eastern Airlines' net loss has significantly narrowed

After five years, China Southern Airlines is expected to be the first among the three major airlines to achieve an annual turnaround. As of the evening of January 30, Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines Holding, and Huaxia Airlines have collectively disclosed their performance forecasts for the year 2025. Among them, China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines are expected to achieve an annual turnaround to profitability, Huaxia Airlines' net profit is expected to expand year-on-year, China Eastern Airlines' losses are expected to narrow year-on-year, while Air China's losses are expected to widen year-on-year.
