12:41 ET Kaltra Expands Microchannel Innovation to Deliver Lower Refrigerant Charge

Kaltra has expanded its microchannel tube size portfolio to minimize refrigerant charge while enhancing HVAC and heat pump systems' performance and sustainability. The new geometries aim to reduce internal coil volume without sacrificing thermal efficiency. This initiative will first apply to condenser and evaporator microchannel coils, with plans to extend to reversible microchannel coil technology. Kaltra is also developing new fin geometries to maintain heat transfer rates while reducing refrigerant charge, supporting compliance with stringent regulations and promoting the use of low-GWP refrigerants.
