# ANSTEEL's loss narrowed to nearly 4.1 billion RMB last year

ANSTEEL (00347.HK) announced that it expects a net loss of approximately RMB 4.077 billion for the year ended December 31 last year, a decrease of 42.75% compared to a loss of RMB 7.122 billion in 2024; it expects a loss of approximately RMB 4.23 billion after excluding non-recurring gains and losses, a decrease of 41.29% compared to approximately RMB 7 billion in the same period of 2024.

The group stated that last year, the steel industry showed some improvement compared to the previous year, but the overall market situation of strong supply and weak demand has not fundamentally improved
