# 10 ordinary prefecture-level cities have a GDP exceeding 1 trillion, Xuzhou is only "a little" away from becoming a trillion-yuan city

After Wenzhou's GDP surpasses one trillion yuan in 2025, there are currently 10 ordinary prefecture-level cities that have entered the ranks of trillion-yuan GDP cities, including Suzhou, Wuxi, Nantong, and Changzhou in Jiangsu, Foshan and Dongguan in Guangdong, Quanzhou in Fujian, Yantai in Shandong, Tangshan in Hebei, and Wenzhou in Zhejiang. Among them, Suzhou has consistently ranked first among ordinary prefecture-level cities for many years. According to data released by the Xuzhou Municipal Bureau of Statistics on February 2, based on the unified accounting results of regional GDP, the city achieved a regional GDP of 99.5722 billion yuan in 2025, representing a 5.8% increase compared to the previous year at constant prices. Xuzhou is just "a little" away from becoming a "trillion-yuan city." (Yicai)
