# The RMB spot exchange rate fell by 27 points, reporting 6.9513 against one US dollar

The onshore Chinese yuan against the US dollar fell by 27 points today (2nd), closing at 6.9513 per US dollar. As of 4:45 PM, the offshore yuan rose by 1 point; the offshore yuan increased by 88 points, reported at 6.9481 per US dollar, which is 32 points higher than the onshore rate
