# Insurance funds "pan for gold" in technology stocks in January, with participation in research institutions increasing by over 20%

Since 2026, under the rotation boom in sectors such as commercial aerospace, AI applications, and brain-computer interfaces, technology stocks have become the "darling" of insurance capital institutions' research. According to incomplete statistics, in January of this year, 97 insurance capital institutions researched about 170 listed companies, with the number of participating insurance capital institutions increasing by over 20% year-on-year. Among them, more than half of the surveyed companies were technology companies, with Haitianruisheng, ZKTECO, Zhongji Xuchuang, Nengke Technology, and Fudan Microelectronics receiving significant attention, all being researched by more than five insurance capital institutions. In terms of the types of participating insurance capital institutions, the top four in terms of the number of research participations this year are all pension insurance companies, namely Taiping Pension, Changjiang Pension, Ping An Pension, and China Life Pension, each participating in research more than 10 times.
