# AJJ, Huaxi unveil eldercare robot roadmap after HSA milestone

**Robot clears HSA Class A device notification.**

AJJ Medtech Holdings Limited and Huaxi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. unveiled a strategic roadmap for a medical-grade multifunctional humanoid eldercare robot after it completed a Health Sciences Authority (HSA) Class A medical device notification listed on 29 Jan, the companies said.

The announcement followed a Memorandum of Understanding signed in October 2025, with the roadmap covering the robot’s development, deployment, and ecosystem integration.

The companies said the robot supports functions including physiological health monitoring, fall detection, companionship communication, medication management, sleep monitoring, and harmful gas detection, and each unit is projected to save the equivalent of 2.3 full-time caregiver positions per day.

The companies said the robot complies with IEC 63310, ISO 13482, and ISO 14485, and it will ensure medical data collection and device integration comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

AJJ’s board said the project remains subject to uncertainties, including regulatory approvals, intellectual property considerations, and market volatility, which it described as the “Rubas Phenomenon”.
