Shares of **Rambus Inc** (NASDAQ:RMBS) fell sharply in pre-market trading after the company reported fourth-quarter financial results and issued first-quarter sales guidance with its midpoint below estimates. Rambus reported quarterly earnings of 68 cents per share which met the analyst consensus estimate. The company reported quarterly sales of $190.200 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $187.563 million. Rambus shares dipped 14.2% to $97.59 in pre-market trading.
