# Chicago soybean futures surged in the short term, rising 1.6% overall during the day, driving agricultural products higher

CBOT soybean futures surged in the short term, turning to rise 1.60% overall for the day; soybean meal futures rose about 0.6%, and soybean oil futures rose 1.7%.

CBOT corn futures rose 0.4%, and wheat futures quickly recovered lost ground.

Bloomberg data shows that the Bloomberg Grains Classification Index soared from around 28.90 points, turning to refresh the daily high at 29.4749 points, with an overall daily increase of 1.10%
