# Coherent 1.6T optical module enters explosive growth period: 2026 becomes a key ramp-up year

According to the latest performance report from the relevant company Coherent, as the scale of artificial intelligence (AI) clusters expands towards "Scale-up" and "Scale-out" architectures, 800G and 1.6T high-speed optical modules have become the core growth engines. The company revealed that the demand for 1.6T products is growing far beyond expectations, initially focusing on EML and silicon photonics solutions, with mass production of the 200G VCSEL solution set to begin in the second half of the year, and significant revenue contributions expected in the 2026 calendar year
