# Foreign investors net sold USD 3.4 billion in Korean stocks, setting a new record high

Data shows that on Thursday, foreign investors net sold KRW 4.99 trillion (USD 3.4 billion) worth of stocks in the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI), setting a record high. Institutional investors also net sold KRW 2.07 trillion worth of KOSPI component stocks. The KOSPI closed down 3.9%.
