# Baidu's Yang Nan: Hong Kong has an open policy environment and cutting-edge technological resources, making it an ideal place for incubating autonomous driving businesses

The Transport and Logistics Bureau announced the transport strategy blueprint, proposing six major strategies with a total of 25 recommendations. Yang Nan, Vice President of Baidu-SW (09888.HK) and General Manager of the Overseas Business Division of the Intelligent Driving Group, stated that the transport strategy blueprint provides a clear direction for the development of smart transportation in Hong Kong, demonstrating the foresight and determination of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government. As one of the most complex right-hand driving markets in the world, Hong Kong has an open policy environment and cutting-edge technological resources, making it an ideal place to incubate autonomous driving businesses.

Yang Nan further pointed out that as the first city in the right-hand market for "Carrot Fast Run," Hong Kong's successful experience will provide important references for the company's global technology promotion
