# Apollo, BlackRock, and OakTree Capital request the judge to dismiss Altice's lawsuit

> Apollo Global, BlackRock, and OakTree Capital requested the judge to dismiss the lawsuit against Altice USA Inc., accusing it of colluding to exclude the company from the U.S. credit market. The creditors argued in the motion that Altice improperly obstructed collaboration among creditors and pointed out that the court has ruled in similar cases that U.S. antitrust laws do not apply to such situations

Lenders of Altice USA Inc. (the U.S. branch of billionaire Patrick Drahi's global telecommunications empire), including Apollo Global Management, BlackRock, and OakTree Capital, have requested a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit accusing them of colluding to keep the company out of the U.S. credit markets. In a motion filed Friday evening (February 6) in New York, creditors argued that Altice improperly attempted to block collaboration among creditors when the borrower sought to renegotiate. The creditors pointed out that in similar past cases, courts have ruled that U.S. antitrust laws do not apply to such situations
