The railway department has launched a minimum 20% discount ticket price on some non-popular routes
According to China National Railway Group Co., Ltd., on February 8th, the national railway is expected to send 13.25 million passengers, with plans to add 1,688 passenger trains. Night high-speed trains will be added on major high-speed rail corridors such as Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Shanghai, and Beijing-Harbin, and a minimum 20% discount on ticket prices will be implemented for some less popular routes, providing more options for travelers
