Responding to a question from Dr Hamid Razak, Member of Parliament for West Coast–Jurong West GRC, Minister of State Alvin Tan said the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) had earlier addressed similar questions in Parliament in November 2025. Tan said that between 2022 and 2024, the Financial Industry Disputes Resolution Centre (FIDReC) completed an average of 246 mediation and adjudication cases each year involving disputes over insurance claim liability and payout amounts. Of these, an average of 95 cases a year were related to health insurance claims. Independent assessors ruled in favour of policyholders in 4% of health insurance dispute cases over the three-year period. ## Related News & Research - [Parliament passes bill to recognise Amaravati as Andhra's permanent capital](https://longbridge.com/en/news/281511055.md) - [Liberal Council In UK Moves To Ban "Intimidating" National Flags](https://longbridge.com/en/news/281628364.md) - [Nepal holds its first post-poll parliament session](https://longbridge.com/en/news/281506765.md) - ['Silenced, not defeated': Raghav Chadha slams AAP after RS post removal](https://longbridge.com/en/news/281607562.md) - [11:33 ETFitness, Health and Wellness Experts Team Up to 'Get Fit for No Kid Hungry' with New On-Demand Initiative](https://longbridge.com/en/news/281213207.md)
