# The Shangai Composite Index Closes 0.17% Higher

The Shangai Composite Index gained 7 points or 0.17 percent on Tuesday to close at 4130 points.

Gains were led by Inner Mongolia BaoTou Steel (3.16%), Avic Aviation Engine (3.05%) and China Coal (1.92%).

Biggest losers were China Fortune (-2.89%), Poly Real Estate (-2.82%) and Yonghui Superstore (-2.61%).
