# Shanghai: Improve the mechanisms for "Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect," "Bond Connect," and "Swap Connect."

The first press conference of the Shanghai "14th Five-Year Plan" thematic series was held on February 11. Zhou Xiaoqian, Executive Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Financial Office, stated that they will cooperate with financial regulatory authorities to deepen the connectivity of domestic and foreign financial markets, improve mechanisms such as "Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect," "Bond Connect," and "Swap Connect," and launch more international financial products and services to enhance the international influence of "Shanghai prices," and improve Shanghai's international reinsurance and shipping insurance underwriting capabilities and service levels. In addition, they will explore the establishment of an offshore financial system and regulatory framework, steadily promote the development of free trade offshore bonds and other businesses, and ensure effective financial risk monitoring and prevention
