# "Bond Market" U.S. January non-farm employment stronger than expected, U.S. Treasury yields rise significantly

In January, the United States added 130,000 non-farm jobs, far exceeding economists' previous expectation of 55,000. U.S. Treasury yields surged on Wednesday.

The two-year bond yield rose by 5.2 basis points to 3.456%. The ten-year bond yield increased by 1.7 basis points to 4.162%. The thirty-year bond yield climbed by 1.2 basis points to 4.8%
