# The US Dollar Index surged and then retreated on Non-Farm Payrolls day

On Wednesday (February 11), at the New York close, the ICE Dollar Index rose by 0.06%, reporting 96.860 points, with an intraday trading range of 96.494-97.272 points. After the release of the U.S. non-farm payroll report at 21:30 Beijing time, it surged from around 96.700 points and refreshed the daily high.  
The Bloomberg Dollar Index fell by 0.09%, reporting 1181.41 points, with an intraday trading range of 1186.07-1178.09 points
