# The yen rose more than 0.8% on non-farm payroll day

On Wednesday (February 11), at the New York close, the US dollar fell 0.83% against the Japanese yen, reporting 153.12 yen, having been in a downward trend for most of the day. It continued to decline during the Asia-Pacific session, then surged to 154.65 yen after the release of the US non-farm payroll report at 21:30 Beijing time, reaching a new daily high, before quickly retreating to 152.56 yen at 01:33, marking a new daily low. The euro fell 0.99% against the yen, and the pound fell 0.92% against the yen
