# XION announces the official launch of its DKIM and ZK modules, which store Distributed Key Identity (DKIM) keys directly on-chain.

XION has officially launched its DKIM and ZK modules, creating a consumer-grade L1 public blockchain that stores email authentication keys (DKIM) directly on-chain and implements zero-knowledge proof at the protocol layer. XION points out that existing email verification schemes (including projects like zkEmail) rely on centralized DNS servers to obtain encryption keys. When email service providers rotate keys, old verifications become invalid, and there is no historical record to follow. XION's DKIM module permanently stores these keys in the on-chain state, completely eliminating reliance on centralized DNS infrastructure. Its ZK module implements zero-knowledge proof verification at the protocol layer, achieving 10 times the efficiency of smart contract solutions. Working together, the two modules allow users to prove any information in an email without exposing the email itself. XION states that currently, approximately 61% of its employees remain silent when witnessing misconduct because the traditional choices are often "anonymity but being ignored" or "speaking out but potentially losing their jobs." Leveraging this infrastructure, XION enables a variety of application scenarios, including: anonymous reporting and workplace evaluation (proving employment status without exposing personal information), wallet recovery without mnemonic phrases (using email as a backup key), purchase behavior and certificate verification (without excessive sharing of personal information), and trusted escrow for ticket resale and insurance claims. Currently, XION has over 800,000 monthly active users and has been integrated with more than 150 brands, including Uber, Amazon, and BMW.
