The central parity rate of the Renminbi against the US dollar was lowered by 19 points today, reported at 6.9457 per US dollar. The People's Bank of China today (12th) conducted a 7-day reverse repurchase operation of 166.5 billion Renminbi (same below) in the open market, with the operation rate remaining at 1.4%; it also conducted a 14-day reverse repurchase operation of 400 billion Renminbi. Today, 118.5 billion Renminbi of reverse repos are maturing, resulting in a net injection of 448 billion Renminbi for the day.

The three major indices of A-shares opened high and rose further. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 4,137 points at noon, up 5 points or 0.1%, with a turnover of 561 billion Renminbi; the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 14,274 points at noon, up 113 points or 0.8%, with a turnover of 768.5 billion Renminbi; the ChiNext Index closed at 3,323 points at noon, up 38 points or 1.2%, with a turnover of 376.8 billion Renminbi.

Banking stocks were slightly weak, with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) and China Construction Bank (601939.SH) down 1.5% and 1.8%, respectively. In addition, CATL (300750.SZ) rose by 2.6%. BYD (002594.SZ) fell by 0.9%.

Film and television stocks continued to decline, with Hengdian Film (603103.SH) hitting the daily limit down. China Film (600977.SH) and Shanghai Film (601595.SH) fell by 6.2% to 7.4% at noon.

Chip-related stocks were relatively stable, with Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (688981.SH) A-shares rising by 1.6%. AI chip stock Cambricon (688256.SH) fell by 0.5%.

Commercial aerospace concept stocks rose, with TYSJ (688033.SH) and Taihao Technology (600590.SH) up 11.5% and 4.7%, respectively. Robotics concept stocks RIFA PM (002520.SZ) and Titan Holdings (003036.SZ) both hit the daily limit up.

Agriculture and animal husbandry stocks were slightly weak, with Wens Foodstuff Group (300498.SZ) and Muyuan Foods (002714) each down over 1% at noon.

Non-ferrous metal stocks continued to rise, with Pengxin Resources (600490.SH) and Hesheng Holdings (002824.SZ) both hitting the daily limit up.

A Dutch court has ordered an investigation into Nexperia, and the Dutch Enterprise Court upheld the status quo ruling. Wingtech Technology (600745.SH) expressed extreme disappointment and strong dissatisfaction with this, and its stock price opened low and fell further, down 4% at noon
