# Q TECH (1478) January mobile phone camera module sales increased by 19.5%

> Q TECH announced its sales data for January 2023, reporting a year-on-year increase of 22.8% in camera module sales, reaching 44.071 million units, primarily driven by increased demand from overseas customers and market share growth. Sales of camera modules in the Internet of Things and smart automotive sectors also saw significant growth. Meanwhile, sales of fingerprint recognition modules increased by 18.4% year-on-year, reaching 19.741 million units, influenced by the rising penetration rate of ultrasonic modules and customer project cycles

Q TECH (1478.HK) announced that the group and its associated company Kunshan Q Tech Microelectronics (India) Private Limited (India Q Tech) reported the following sales data for its main products in January this year:

Sales volume of camera module products increased by 22.8% year-on-year to 44.071 million units, driven mainly by increased demand from overseas customers and the group's continuous improvement in market share in related markets. At the same time, sales performance of camera modules in other areas continued to improve, with significant year-on-year growth recorded for camera modules used in the Internet of Things (IoT) and smart automotive sectors.

In terms of fingerprint recognition module products, sales volume in January increased by 18.4% year-on-year to 19.741 million units, mainly driven by two factors: first, the continuous increase in industry penetration rate of ultrasonic fingerprint recognition modules; second, order growth driven by customer project cycles
