# Multiple regions issued documents before the festival requiring food delivery platforms to stop "involution-style" competition: they must not continue to subsidize with market share growth as the highest goal

On the eve of the Spring Festival, market supervision departments in many cities across the country issued compliance guidelines for Spring Festival takeout, warning relevant takeout platforms to compete rationally. Among them, cities such as Xinyang and Nanyang in Henan, Bengbu in Anhui, Shantou in Guangdong, Wenchang in Hainan, and Liaoyang in Liaoning require takeout platforms to immediately stop low-quality, low-price "involution" vicious competition, and to refrain from organizing malicious subsidies and predatory pricing, in order to ensure the stability of the Spring Festival takeout market order.
