# CLP Holdings supports the updated version of the "Hong Kong Electric Vehicle Popularization Roadmap," which will significantly expand charging services this year

> CLP HOLDINGS' subsidiary CLP Power supports the "Updated Roadmap for the Popularization of Electric Vehicles in Hong Kong," planning to significantly expand charging services, especially for the fast charging needs of medium and heavy electric commercial vehicles. CLP Power will collaborate with commercial vehicle partners to launch diversified charging solutions and has already partnered with five electric taxi fleets to provide charging services. Additionally, it is converting the Tai Po gas station into an electric vehicle charging station and building charging stations near the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge port, aiming to increase the number of charging points to approximately 1,500 in the next two years

CLP HOLDINGS (00002.HK) subsidiary CLP Power supports the government's "Hong Kong Electric Vehicle Popularization Roadmap Update" by improving the fast charging network and supporting the development of electric commercial vehicles. CLP Power President Eric Wu stated that promoting the electrification of commercial vehicles, especially medium and heavy-duty vehicles, primarily requires meeting their fast refueling needs. This year, CLP Power will significantly expand its charging services focused on fast and ultra-fast charging, actively aligning with the government's development direction, and further collaborating with commercial vehicle partners to gradually launch diversified charging solutions to support the transportation and logistics industry's accelerated electrification transformation.

To promote the popularization of electric taxis, CLP Power has currently partnered with five licensed taxi fleets across Hong Kong to provide convenient and reliable charging services, assisting fleets in gradually expanding their electrification scale. At the same time, CLP Power is actively responding to the SAR government's initiative to transform gas stations into high-speed charging stations, and is currently working on converting the previously acquired gas station site on Kwun Tong Road in Tai Po into an electric vehicle charging station. In line with the "Yue Che Nan Xia" policy, the Lantau Island charging station built near the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge port has also been put into operation at the end of last year.

CLP Power stated that it currently provides over 300 charging points at more than 35 electric vehicle charging stations and will continue to add more charging facilities supporting national and European standards this year, aiming to increase the number of charging points to approximately 1,500 in the next two years
