# JD.com: In the next five years, it will invest 22 billion yuan to build 150,000 "Xiao Ge Homes."

JD Group (09618.HK) released a New Year greeting for 2026, announcing that it will invest over 1.3 billion RMB during the nine-day Spring Festival holiday, providing benefits that exceed national legal standards for procurement and sales, express delivery, customer service, doctors, store staff, domestic workers, and newly joined full-time couriers in the form of overtime pay, New Year red envelopes, and subsidies for family reunions.

In the past year, 150,000 full-time delivery couriers joined JD. JD disclosed that it plans to invest 22 billion RMB over the next five years to build 150,000 "Courier Homes." During this period, it will also procure 3 million robots, 1 million unmanned vehicles, and 100,000 drones, fully investing in the entire logistics supply chain scenario.

As of December 2025, JD has provided 28,000 sets of housing for frontline employees, covering 145 cities nationwide
