Electronic exports saw a strong growth of 56.1%, mainly driven by demand for artificial intelligence, with integrated circuits, disk media, and computer parts growing by 80.5%, 70.2%, and 24% respectively. Non-electronic exports declined by 3%, with food, petrochemical products, and special machinery decreasing by 49.2%, 24.5%, and 15.6% respectively. Exports to the top 10 markets mostly increased, with the largest growth seen in Europe (43.7%), Thailand (39.3%), and mainland China (37.1%) Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) in January increased by 9.3% year-on-year, continuing the previous month's growth of 6.1%. The data released by the Singapore Economic Development Board on Monday (February 16) showed that electronic exports grew strongly by 56.1% in January, while non-electronic exports declined by 3%. The surge in electronic exports was mainly driven by strong demand related to artificial intelligence and a low base from the same period last year.
