# BUZZ-Kwality Wall's India drops 24% in trading debut

> Shares of Kwality Wall’s (India) fell 24% to 30.55 rupees in its trading debut, valuing the firm at 71.78 billion rupees ($791.3 million). The shares listed on the NSE at 29.80 rupees, below the discovered price of 40.20 rupees. This listing follows a demerger from Hindustan Unilever, part of Unilever's strategy to separate its global ice cream business. The Magnum Ice Cream Company has launched an open offer to acquire up to 26% stake in KWAI at 21.33 rupees per share, after acquiring a 61.9% stake from Unilever entities.
