# Asia Naphtha/Gasoline-Gasoline crack rises; MRPL offers March fuel

NEW DELHI, Feb 16 (Reuters) - Asia’s gasoline refining profit margin rose on Monday, but sentiment remained negative amid lower-than-expected demand from key buyers and abundant supplies.

The crack climbed to $6.14 per barrel over Brent crude, compared with about $4 in the previous session.

At the deals window, 100,000 barrels of the higher 95-octane grade of gasoline changed hands, market participants said.

In tenders, India’s MRPL offered two parcels of 95-octane non-oxygenated fuel for loading between March 4-5, the company said in a document. The tender closes on Tuesday with same-day validity.

The Singapore market closed early on Monday on account of a public holiday on Tuesday and Wednesday.
