# Ensurge Micropower appoints Matt Catterson as Chief Operating Officer (COO)

> Ensurge Micropower ASA has appointed Matt Catterson as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective February 16, 2026. This appointment aligns with the company's strategic shift to a product-led model aimed at accelerating the commercialization of its solid-state lithium microbattery technology. Catterson, who has over 15 years of experience in battery manufacturing, previously served as Vice President of Manufacturing at QuantumScape and has been Interim Senior Vice President of Operations at Ensurge since November 2025. He will focus on enhancing production processes and operational readiness.

Ensurge Micropower ASA (OSE: ENSU) announces the appointment of Matt Cattersonas Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective today. The appointment is part ofEnsurge's strategic shift to a product-led operating model announced onFebruary3, 2026, which focuses on accelerating commercialization of the company'ssolid-state lithium microbattery technology.

Matt Catterson brings more than 15 years of experience in batterymanufacturingand operations leadership. Most recently, he served as Vice President ofManufacturing at QuantumScape, where he held executive responsibility for allmanufacturing functions and was a key driver of QuantumScape's PowerCo/VWlicensing and technology transfer initiative. Prior to QuantumScape, he servedas Senior Operations Manager at Panasonic Energy inside Tesla's Gigafactory 1,leading over 1,400 employees in battery assembly operations. He has served asInterim Senior Vice President of Operations and Manufacturing at Ensurge sinceNovember 2025.

As COO, Catterson will lead Ensurge's operations and manufacturing functions,focusing on scalable production processes, quality systems, and operationalreadiness to support customer deliveries.
