# BUZZ-Albemarle gains as BofA upgrades rating to 'buy'

Shares of lithium miner Albemarle (ALB.N) up 1.4% to $168.62 premarket

BofA Global Research upgrades rating to “buy” from “neutral”, raises PT to $190 from $167

The new PT represents a 14.2% upside to the stock’s closing price

Brokerage believes lithium pricing has moved beyond a purely headline-driven rebound and is increasingly supported by improving supply-demand fundamentals

“With disciplined capital allocation and a portfolio positioned to benefit from sustained EV and Energy Storage System demand, we see improved earnings visibility and attractive upside, ” -BofA
