# AIA Singapore’s payout hits $40b in last decade

> AIA Singapore has paid out over $40 billion in claims and maturity proceeds over the last decade, covering death, critical illness, accident, hospitalization, and maturity payouts. This amount includes payments related to retirement and savings products. The company, celebrating its 95th anniversary, supports the health of over one-third of Singapore's workforce and was the first to offer mental health coverage. Additionally, AIA Singapore operates the AIA+ super app, which integrates various services, and AIA Vitality members received over $10 million in rewards in 2025.

**Claims and maturity proceeds span protection and savings.**

AIA Singapore paid out more than $40b in death, critical illness, accident, hospitalisation and maturity proceeds over the last decade, the company said in a press release marking its 95th anniversary.

The $40b covers protection claims and maturity payouts to policyholders over the last 10 years, including payments linked to retirement and savings products.

The insurer said it safeguards the health and wellness of more than one-third of Singapore’s workforce and was the first insurer in Singapore to provide mental health coverage to policyholders.

AIA Singapore also operates the AIA+ super app integrating insurance, healthcare, wellness and financial management services, and said AIA Vitality members enjoyed over $10m worth of partner rewards and benefits in 2025.
