D-Wave Quantum (QBTS) disclosed a small insider stock sale in a recent SEC Form 4 filing. The transaction came from Diane Nguyen, the company's EVP and Chief Legal Officer. The sale took place on February 13, 2026, and involved 1,451 shares at an average price of about $19.76. Following the sale, Nguyen retained 538,138 shares in the company.

Importantly, this was not a typical insider sale based on personal market views. Instead, the filing explains that the shares were sold only to meet tax rules tied to vesting stock awards. The document states that the sale was required "to cover the statutory tax withholding obligations" linked to restricted stock units. It also notes that this "does not represent a discretionary trade" by the executive.

Meanwhile, QBTS shares dropped a significant 6.25% on Tuesday, closing at $18.44. Yesterday, Infleqtion, now known as ColdQuanta, Inc. (INFQ), started trading on the NYSE, causing all pure-play stocks to drop, including IonQ (IONQ), Rigetti (RGTI), QCI (QUBT), and Arqit Quantum (ARQQ).
