# European stock markets hit a record closing high

The European STOXX 600 Index preliminarily closed up 1.27% at 629.17 points, breaking the previous closing historical high of 621.58 points set on February 11.  
The Eurozone STOXX 50 Index preliminarily closed up 1.38% at 6104.85 points, also setting a new closing historical high.  
The FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Europe Index preliminarily closed up 1.27% at 2508.76 points
