
"Economics" U.S. personal consumption rose 0.4% in December, personal income rose 0.3%, both in line with expectations
According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. personal consumption increased by 0.4% month-on-month in December last year, which is an increase of $91 billion, consistent with the growth rate in November and market expectations.
Personal income grew by 0.3% month-on-month in December, reaching $26.512 trillion, in line with market expectations, while the increase for November was revised to 0.4%.
