# US tariff decision strengthens rule of law, says Swiss pharma lobby

ZURICH, Feb 20 (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to strike down President Donald Trump’s tariffs strengthens the rule of law in international trade, a major Swiss chemical and pharmaceutical industry association said on Friday.

“The decision of the Supreme Court of the United States is an important signal for the rule of law and reliability in international trade. Stable and predictable framework conditions are crucial for our globally networked industry,” said Stephan Mumenthaler, the head of the group, Scienceindustries.
