And Viswanathan had no shortage of praise to offer Intel for its support of Intel India. While certainly, Intel India is poised to drive Intel's operations in producing semiconductors, the connection to Intel India will go beyond that as well. As for Intel's plans in India, Viswanathan made it clear that Intel was in for the "long haul." Intel also has a hand in supporting the overall technological ecosystem in India, from manufacture to telecom and beyond. A connection to Tata is also helping matters here for Intel India, as it works to produce AI PCs. Remember just a few days ago when Intel declared that one in two PCs would be AI PCs? The work Intel is currently doing in India would readily support this idea. ## **A Comparative Deal** For anyone who is looking for a new Intel processor, though, things might seem a bit disheartening. The ongoing shortage around processors, and their steadily-surging price tags, is not helping matters. But new reports say that shopping Amazon (AMZN) will prove helpful for anyone who wants to get an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K. That processor is currently down to $559.77, which is a decent discount off its standard manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $599. It is hardly a fire sale—and given the circumstances that would be expecting too much anyway—but it will be a welcome discount for anyone needing a new processor right now. ## **Is Intel a Buy, Hold or Sell?** Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Hold consensus rating on INTC stock based on eight Buys, 21 Holds and four Sells assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below.
