After the U.S. Supreme Court overturned President Trump's decision to impose comprehensive tariffs globally on Friday, the U.S. president stated that he does not need to seek Congress to restore his extensive global tariffs. When asked if he would approach Congress on this matter, Trump told reporters at the White House, "I don't need to do that," as the authority he sought has already been approved. Trump also mentioned that if he were to seek additional tariff authority from Congress, he believes it would likely be approved
