# SNAP's False Revenue Dawn Leaves Stock With Bearish Bias

> Snap (SNAP) stock continues to decline, despite some positive signals in its latest earnings report. However, the author remains skeptical about a turnaround due to the company's historical issues and ongoing stock-based compensation concerns, maintaining a bearish outlook on the stock.

Snap (SNAP) stock has been on a painful, perpetual decline over the years, leaving a trail of scorched portfolios in its wake. While pockets of positivity in the latest earnings report led some investors to think this could finally be the beginning of a turnaround story (including new revenue sources), I remain unconvinced. I don't believe Snap can truly turn the ship around, given its historical baggage and relentless stock-based compensation slur, and as such, I remain bearish on the stock.
