# Hong Kong will announce railway standards next week

> The Secretary for Transport and Logistics of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Chen Meibao, announced that Hong Kong will release the "Hong Kong Railway Standards" next week. The standards integrate national and other regional railway standards and are adjusted according to Hong Kong's environmental conditions, aiming to promote the industry's adoption of standardized design and innovative construction technologies to enhance efficiency and optimize the supply chain

The Secretary for Transport and Logistics of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Chen Meibao, stated today (21st) that railway technology and construction technology have made significant progress in recent years. Coupled with the continuous expansion of Hong Kong's railway network, cross-border railway projects are being promoted without pause. The Hong Kong Railway Standards, developed by the Highways Department in collaboration with relevant government departments and railway experts over the past six months, will be released next week
