The Taiwan Weighted Index increased by 404 points or 1.2%, closing at 34,009 points, with an intraday high of 34,212 points. The South Korean Composite Stock Price Index rose by 29 points or 0.5%. The Indian Nifty 50 Index increased by 159 points or 0.6%. The New Zealand Stock Exchange 50 Index rose by 111 points or 0.8%. Other Southeast Asian stock markets also generally rose

The U.S. Supreme Court rejected Trump's reciprocal tariffs, and stock markets in the Asia-Pacific region generally rose, with Taiwan, South Korea, and Singapore hitting new highs.

The Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets are closed for the holiday. The Hong Kong Hang Seng Index rose 605 points or 2.3% to 27,019 points, with a turnover of HKD 106.5 billion. After the Lunar New Year holiday, the Taiwan stock market reopened, with the weighted average index rising 404 points or 1.2% to 34,009 points, reaching a new high of 34,212 points during the session. TSMC rose to a new high of NT$1,935, up 0.3% to NT$1,920. MediaTek fell 2.4%, Delta Electronics rose 5.2%, and Hon Hai rose 0.7%.

The Japanese stock market is closed for the holiday. The South Korean KOSPI rose 29 points or 0.5% to 5,838 points, reaching a new high of 5,931 points during the session. Automotive stock Hyundai Motor rose 2.8%. Memory stocks Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix rose 1.4% and 0.6%, respectively. The Indian Nifty 50 index rose 159 points or 0.6% to 25,731 points. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone rose 2.7%, while Adani Group rose 1.5%. Life insurance stock SBI Life rose 2.1%.

The Australian S&P/ASX 200 index fell 61 points or 0.7% to 9,019 points. Gold mining stock Newmont rose 4.2%, while mining stock Rio Tinto fell 1.5%. Financial stocks ANZ Group and Macquarie fell 2.6% and 2.2%, respectively. The New Zealand Exchange 50 index rose 111 points or 0.8% to 13,420 points.

The Singapore Straits Times Index rose 14 points or 0.3% to 5,032 points, reaching a new high of 5,041 points during the session. Hatten Land and Sunway Construction rose 2.3% and 1.9%, while Jardine Matheson and CapitaLand rose 1.8% and 2%, respectively. In other Southeast Asian stock markets, Malaysia's stock market rose 0.3%, while Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines rose between 1% and 1.3%. After the Lunar New Year holiday, the Vietnamese stock markets in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City rose 1.6% and 1.3%, respectively
