# Xiaomi 17 series international version to debut in Barcelona on February 28

Xiaomi officially announced that it will hold a global launch event in Barcelona, Spain, on the 28th of this month at 2 PM local time, where it is expected to first introduce the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The official slogan is "The New Wave of Imagery is arriving," indicating that the new device will focus on upgrades to imaging capabilities.

Market news suggests that the Xiaomi 17 standard version, Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, Xiaomi Tag, and Xiaomi Watch 5 may also make an appearance at the event. As for the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max, it is reported that there are currently no plans for an international version, which will continue to be exclusive to the Chinese market. In terms of pricing, it is said that the international versions of the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra will maintain the previous generation's prices, effectively freezing the price increase. However, the battery capacity differs slightly from the Chinese version, with the global version of the Xiaomi 17 equipped with a 6,330mAh battery, while the Chinese version has a 7,000mAh battery. The global version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has a 6,000mAh battery (the Chinese version has 6,800mAh), with other specifications being roughly the same
