Seoul and Taiwan also finished in the green, while Shanghai and Tokyo were closed on holiday. Mainland China trading floors, which have been closed since Feb. 14 for Lunar New Year, will reopen on Tuesday. Tokyo will re-open also on Tuesday, after a three-day weekend. However, the Trump Administration has vowed to implement other tariffs, and retains those applied for national security reasons. The broad gauge Hang Seng rose 668.56 to 27,081.91, as gaining issues outnumbered losers 83 to five. The Hang Seng TECH Index gained 3.3% on the day, while the Mainland Properties Index rose 2%.
