It is Indonesia’s first charging station to offer ultra-fast and split charging with liquid cooling. The Zora Signature charging station features eight DC ultra-fast chargers with 12 charging points and one AC fast charger. All the DC ultra-fast chargers have a maximum power output of 480 kW, while the AC fast charger can deliver up to 22 kW. Huawei Digital Power has supplied all the DC ultra-fast chargers, half of which are the Liquid-Cooled model with a single CCS2 connector and half the Boost model with two CCS2 connectors. The former, as its name suggests, features liquid cooling, while the latter uses conventional air cooling. The DC chargers mainly benefit customers of high-end EVs like the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV9, Xpeng G6, Xpeng X9, and Zeekr 7X, which feature an 800-volt or higher electrical architecture. They can charge such models from 10 per cent to 80 per cent state of charge (SoC) in just around 20 minutes. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), Indonesia’s state-owned power utility, has inaugurated the country’s fastest EV charging station. The company has partnered with Mega Energi Biru Indonesia (MEBI), a private EV charging infrastructure developer, and Huawei Digital Power to deliver the new outlet. The Zora Signature charging station also offers amenities such as a waiting room featuring a display of MEBI’s line-up of EV chargers, a coffee shop, and an ATM. As of December 2025, PLN and its partners have deployed 4,655 public charging stations across Indonesia. Commenting on the opening of the new flagship charging station, PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo said, “This collaboration demonstrates that by working together, the transformation of electric vehicles to support decarbonization in the transportation sector is possible.” “We are not only inaugurating a new service station (SPKLU), but also establishing a direction that Indonesia is ready to move faster, that innovation is our commitment, and that the future of green mobility starts here, from this point,” said MEBI President Commissioner Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo. pln.co.id (in Indonesian), youtube.com, huawei.com ## Related News & Research - [Revel and Voltera are building a big EV charging network for robotaxis](https://longbridge.com/en/news/287960763.md) - [Slate Auto will start taking orders for its low-cost EV on June 24](https://longbridge.com/en/news/287944546.md) - [Global EV sales surge despite steep US market decline](https://longbridge.com/en/news/287841052.md) - [How to prevent rejection of EV insurance claim: Key precautions to take](https://longbridge.com/en/news/287949476.md) - [Slate Auto will announce pricing and take preorders for its EV on June 24](https://longbridge.com/en/news/287969152.md)
