According to Chengdu Release, data from the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism shows that during the Spring Festival holiday, the city received a total of 23.782 million visitors, an increase of 5.9% on a comparable basis. The total tourism expenditure was 25.75 billion yuan, an increase of 33.0%, with per capita tourism consumption at 1,082.7 yuan, an increase of 25.5%. The city received 9.312 million visitors from outside the province, an increase of 7.2%; and 77,000 inbound tourists, an increase of 47.2%. A-level scenic spots received 15.211 million visitors, an increase of 8.8%
