Recently, according to All Weather Technology, it has been learned from Honor insiders that Honor will launch its first humanoid robot focused on the consumer market at the 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC). **This also marks Honor as the first mainstream smartphone manufacturer in the world to officially enter the humanoid robot sector.** In fact, Honor has long had ambitions to explore the robot sector. In October 2025, Honor showcased a smartphone similar to the Pocket camera at the launch event of the Magic8 series, naming it the "Robot Phone," demonstrating Honor's vision for intelligent interconnectivity across devices. Compared to industrial-grade robots, the consumer-grade humanoid robot market is viewed by industry insiders as currently having the greatest potential for commercialization. "The level of automation in modern factories is already very high. The current cost of humanoid robots is still difficult to compete with the automation equipment in these factories," said the head of a humanoid robot company in Beijing to All Weather Technology. As a result, the consumer-grade market has become a "battleground." Companies like Songyan Power, Galaxy General, Yushu Technology, and Magic Atom Robotics are all participating in sponsoring the 2026 Year of the Horse Spring Festival Gala, which also reflects the intention of various parties to tap into the C-end market. For example, Songyan Power's "Little Bumi" robot, aimed at the consumer market, is priced at around ten thousand yuan, primarily to match the payment capacity of consumer-grade customers. However, compared to robot startups that need to build user recognition from scratch, Honor has a large, highly engaged user base, a mature supply chain system, and a global retail network, especially the deep brand momentum accumulated in the C-end market can provide it with a natural moat. But how Honor's humanoid robot will better synergize with its smartphone business and how it will uncover true "essential" scenarios in the consumer end remains to be further observed ### Related Stocks - [688259.CN](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/688259.CN.md) ## Related News & Research - [Figure AI had one of its robots race a human to sort packages.
