# He Xiaopeng internal letter: To achieve the world's first mass production of advanced humanoid robots

The robot will begin mass production by the end of the year, with the first applications in guiding and shopping scenarios, and will open its SDK to global developers. On February 24th, the first working day after the Lunar New Year holiday, XPeng CEO He Xiaopeng issued a letter to all employees with the theme "Steady Progress and Breaking the Situation, Together Embracing the New Decade of Physical AI in 2026." In the letter, He Xiaopeng stated the goal of "mass-producing dreams" by 2026, with the new generation IRON robot set to start mass production by the end of the year, aiming to become "the world's first large-scale mass-produced advanced humanoid robot." This year, Iron will first be implemented in scenarios such as guided tours and sales assistance, and the SDK will be opened to global developers. He Xiaopeng hopes that XPeng can take the lead in China to seize the "DeepSeek" moment for autonomous driving, believing that XPeng is at a historic turning point—2026, where physical AI + globalization must penetrate deeply.
