# Zeekr launches sales in Italy and deliveries in Germany

> Geely's electric vehicle brand Zeekr has launched in Italy with local partner Jameel Motors Italia, offering models including Zeekr 7X, 001, X, and 7GT. Customer deliveries are set for spring 2026. In Germany, where orders began in December, the first deliveries have occurred, with the first vehicle handed over in Stuttgart. Zeekr aims to establish a strong presence in Europe, focusing on premium electric vehicles and customer experience.

Let’s start with Italy: the model range there includes the Zeekr 7X, Zeekr 001, Zeekr X, and Zeekr 7GT – the same four models available in other European markets. The 001 is the refreshed version of the brand’s first model, a large shooting brake. The Zeekr X is a compact SUV and a sibling model to the Smart #1 and Volvo EX30, while the Zeekr 7X competes in Europe’s most sought-after segment as a mid-size SUV. In early January, the Geely brand introduced the Zeekr 7GT, a similarly sized battery-electric estate.

Orders for these models are now open in Italy, with customer deliveries and the opening of retail locations scheduled for spring 2026. The distribution partner, Jameel Motors Italia, is already active in the country for other Geely brands and will leverage its experience in the Italian market.

“Italy is a key market in our European expansion, and the timing for Zeekr’s entry could not be better,” says Lothar Schupet, CEO of Zeekr Europe. “Demand for premium electric vehicles is growing rapidly, supported by continued investment in charging infrastructure. Together, we look forward to introducing Zeekr to Italian customers and contributing to the ongoing development of electric mobility in the country.”

While it will still be some time before the first Zeekr vehicles reach customers in Italy, Germany is further ahead. As reported, orders have been possible since the beginning of December 2025. The first vehicles have already been delivered in recent days. In mid-February, Lukas Dohle, the newly appointed Head of Zeekr Germany, handed over the first vehicle to a customer in Stuttgart; a grey Zeekr 7X Long Range RWD.

“With Zeekr, we are introducing a highly competitive offering, designed in Europe and built around customers’ real expectations: performance, innovation and a high-quality experience throughout the entire customer journey,” added Marco Santucci, Managing Director of Jameel Motors Italia. “Our objective is to establish a strong long-term presence in Italy, leveraging an efficient distribution model and a clear market vision.”
