# Ho Bee Land's net profit in the second half of the year fell by 50% to 50.4 million yuan | Lianhe Zaobao

Ho Bee Land's net profit for the second half of the year fell by 50% year-on-year to SGD 50.4 million, while the group's revenue decreased by 12% year-on-year to SGD 262.3 million. The company will distribute a final dividend of SGD 0.05 per share on May 22, up from SGD 0.04 per share a year ago, with the stock registration deadline set for May 13.

The performance report released by Ho Bee Land on Tuesday (February 24) showed that in the second half of the year, the group's real estate development sales fell by 17% year-on-year to SGD 139.6 million, mainly due to a decrease in settlement amounts from Australian projects; rental income decreased by 6% year-on-year to SGD 122.7 million, primarily due to the reclassification of Elementum as a joint venture.

In the second half of the year, the group's other income and fair value changes plummeted by 96% to SGD 2.9 million (compared to SGD 66.6 million in the same period last year), mainly due to the impact of two gains from the previous year. These two gains were a SGD 34.8 million gain from the sale of a 49% stake in Elementum and a SGD 36.2 million revaluation gain from the joint venture controlling Elementum.

For the fiscal year ending December 2025, the group's annual net profit decreased by 9% to SGD 10.02 million, and revenue fell by 17% to SGD 440 million, primarily due to the divestment of Elementum, reduced rental income, and lower settlement amounts in the group's real estate development business.
